Richard Carvath is an English evangelical Christian born in 1976 and based in Salford in the United Kingdom. He is not currently a member of any political party but is essentially a 'Christian conservative' with a right-of-centre political ideology based upon orthodox Biblical morality. Richard spends his time between his industrial metal-cleaning business, book and journalistic feature-writing, political campaigning and research. His long-term aim is to become a Member of Parliament. Richard is unmarried and his interests include boxing, rock-climbing, studying history, playing the drums, meeting people and charitable projects. He is a member of the Maranatha Community and attends an independent free evangelical church in Trafford. Richard Carvath's first major book is provisionally due for publication in late 2008. Richard's emblems are the Oak Tree and the Lion Rampant and his latin motto is Semper Fidelis, which means 'always faithful'.
